We celebrated Dr. Seuss and Read Across America Week with some fun days at school! Crazy socks to begin...
❓Did you know...
The National Education Association launched Read Across America in 1998 as a year-round program to celebrate reading. Given Dr. Seuss’ impact on the reading world, his birthday (March 2) was declared Read Across America Day. This also commences Read Across America Week and Read Across America Month.

If you know of a preschool-aged child (age 4 by 9/15/25), please let their caretaker know that preschool registration at one of CCSD's eight sites (https://5il.co/1q5c6) is NOW OPEN for the 2025-26 school year!
Preschool is free for ALL 4 year olds in Clinton, and research shows lifetime academic and social benefits!

CCSD's Early Childhood Celebration will take place on April 2, 2025 at Bluff! Please RSVP to your child's preschool teacher by March 25th.

Whittier Instructional Coach for ELA
First response cont.: "That year really drove home the importance of forming deep, personal connections with students. The same is true in my current role as an instructional coach. Connecting with students and staff is at the front and center of any position. "

Flashlight reading is always a fun treat!

Clinton Wrestling shared:
Thank you to Lt. Governor Chris Cournoyer for giving our Kings and Coaches the opportunity to tour the Capitol this afternoon! It was really great to speak with her and hear from her about leadership, education and what her experiences have provided her. We heard a breakdown of a typical day and some of her other responsibilities. She truly is a wonderful woman who represents her constituents. Again, thank you so much Lt. Governor Chris Cournoyer for taking time out of your day for us!
