River Queens Tennis meet at Bettendorf High School has been postponed to next Wednesday due to weather conditions this afternoon.

CHS International Club will have its first volunteering on Saturday, August 30 at 9:00 am at the Eagle Point Dog Park. If you would like to join the club or have any questions, please see Mrs. Krueger in room A317.
Students: if you leave for lunch you will not be allowed back in the building early. We will be able to let you back in 5 minutes before the next flex/block starts.
Remember to sign in when you are going to spend time in the library. There is no food or disposable beverages allowed on the upper floor of the library. You can NOT eat your lunch in any part of the library. If you are on the upper floor of the library you need to be sitting in one of the chairs. If the chairs are full you need to be on the main floor.
Auditions for River Royalty Production's fall play, Beware the House on Haunted Hill, will be held Friday, August 29th from 4-6 pm and Wednesday, September 3rd from 4-8 pm in the Durgin Performing Arts Center. Check out the tv monitors or contact Mrs. Lemon-Levy or Mrs. Vonderohe for details.

The Homecoming Dance is on Oct 4th. Make sure you are showing up to class, getting your work done, and paying off any fees so you can go.

The River Kings after starting the year off well had a tough day at Thunder Hills Country Club in Peosta. Team medalist for the Kings was Scott Pasakarnis. Also scoring for the Kings were Carter Thorpe, Maverick Hensel, and Cohen Thorpe. All 4 scores were in the 90's which was high for them. The Kings will put some time in the rest of this week to fix some of the issues they had today and are in action again next Wednesday at Emeis Golf Course.
The River Queen Swimmers started their season off strong with a win at Tipton last night taking home wins in 7 out of the 9 events. Grabbing wins for the Queens were Schroeder, Whitney, Brisch, Wright, Ewer, Emmert and Jackson. The next meet for the Queens will be at home next Tuesday against Bettendorf.
Another smashing success for the girls tennis team! Maddie Rowden was first off the court with a victory over Dewitt. Grinnall, Cewe, Srp and Manikowski brought in more singles wins. One and two doubles finished off the big night for the Queens leaving Clinton with a 7-2 victory. The girls undefeated season will continue on as they look to take out Bettendorf, Wednesday at Bettendorf. We will still take new players for tennis this week. Contact Coach Rasche if you want to be a part of a team that has an amazing tradition of winning! Go Tennis Queens!!!
