Miss Nelson has gone missing! And River Royalty Productions needs your help to find her! Join us on June 12th through the June 14th at 7 pm and June 15th at 2 pm in the Durgin Performing Arts Center for our Spring Play Miss Nelson is Missing. Tickets for students are $5 and adults are $10.

Attention all runners: if you'd like to participate in summer running and lifting, please come to the informational meeting today (Friday, May 30th) at 3:40pm in Coach O'Connell's room. We will have sprinting, hurdling, and distance running opportunities. Come learn about how you can get better! If you have any questions, please see a coach!

The River Queen JV softball team played Bettendorf last night in a double header the Queens came up short in both games. Lauryn Mangan led the Queens with two hits last night. Madisen Davids and Grace Hake pitched well for the Queens. The Queens are back in action next Friday at Muscatine at 10am
The River Queens Varsity softball team dropped two games at Bettendorf last night. The Queens were led by Tucker Sechrest at the plate as she recorded two hits. The River Queens are back in action on Monday night at Davenport Central.

On Friday the library will be prepping our layout for computer check in. So we may be short on space until next school year.

Wyatt Kuhse went to state for the Special Olympics last week and he came home with two first place medals... one in shot put and one in bocce ball!
The River Queens lost two games at Maquoketa on Wednesday night. After a tough loss in game one, the Queens bounced back and played much better in game two losing 1-4. The Queens travel to Bettendorf tonight to play a doubleheader starting at 5pm.
The freshman baseball team lost two games to Assumption last night in their season opener. Game one the Kings lost 10-0, and fell to the Knights 15-0 in game two. It was a great learning experience for everyone involved. We are back in action looking to bounce back next Tuesday in Dewitt.

After-School Tutoring is being offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 - 4:45 in the New Library! There is no cost. We have staff in most of the core classes available! Please ask a CHS teacher or administrator if you would like to attend! Time is running out to get grades up. Let our Tutors help you.
There are two garbage cans between the student lot and entry to the building. Please use them and don’t just leave your garbage all over the parking lot. Take some pride in our grounds and keep them looking nice.
On Friday night, the River Queens soccer team traveled to Mount Vernon to take on the Mustangs in round one of post-season regional play. The Queens kept it tight early with tenacious defense. The match was tied 0-0 entering halftime thanks to nine saves by Senior Captain Livia Watters. The Mustangs broke the scoring drought with a wicked goal on a bending corner kick. The Queens could not mount much of an offensive attack managing just two shots on goal, and lost the game 3-0. Thank you to our family and friends for your continued support throughout the season, it means so much!! Good luck to our graduating Seniors...Boomshakalaka OUT!!!

On Saturday, our Boys 800m Sprint Medley Relay Team of Ceion Currin, Ronnie Abbott-Lutton, Maddux Cooley, and Jayden Krogmann placed 23rd; and Carryn Sattler placed 7th in the 800m open.
Phenomenal work by all of our athletes at State this year! Thank you for all your efforts and dedication!
