CCSD is working with a theater seating supplier to use the best of our existing theater seats for installation in the upper level of the new theater. These seats are not very old and will match the style of the new seats on the main level!

Thank you to Lt. Governor Chris Cournoyer for giving our Kings and Coaches the opportunity to tour the Capitol this afternoon! It was really great to speak with her and hear from her about leadership, education and what her experiences have provided her. We heard a breakdown of a typical day and some of her other responsibilities. She truly is a wonderful woman who represents her constituents. Again, thank you so much Lt. Governor Chris Cournoyer for taking time out of your day for us!

The last of the concrete in the new Clinton High Theater is down, and final work is being completed to finish wall coverings. In the next few weeks, contractors are scheduled to install seating, the stage floor system, theater lighting, stage rigging, orchestra shell, and pit filler. After that work is completed and we have approval to occupy the space, staff will be trained in using the theater systems.

The February Nutrition Services employee of the month is Karen Grimm. Karen is a cashier at Jefferson Elementary and has been with the district for over a year and a half.
